Mistake.

This was not a good buy. Its image is okay - nothing to write home about given the price - but where it really let me down was other things. The side focus went a bit mad and started under focusing big time. it was very slovenly in how it held zero, the Map6a reticle is no good at all. It's very hard to pick up the range markers, so you spend far too much time trying to find the lines and not where your target is or what it's doing. I do like the red or blue IR, very nice indeed, but it comes with a problem. You can't slide even the widest Nite-Site link on, so if you are thinking of getting one of those or got one already, don't get this scope.

In fact, don't get this scope. £180 is a big expenditure and you'de get more elsewhere. The mamba lite might not have the IR, but in every other way, it's a far better scope.

Pros
You don't get a bad image really
nice choice of reticles and mag ranges.
Great IR system - ish
Cons
the Map 6a reticle was hopeless
it doesn't fit well with the Nite-site range of NV kits
my side focusing went doollaly
expensive, even for the specs.
